The Latine Graduation is a celebration that builds community and a sense of familia for PCC students, and strives to empower students to be the agents for social change in their lives, in their families and in their communities. Our goal is to provide models of success for future generations.

Join us in honoring your accomplishments in a culturally-rich and bilingual celebration along with your family and peers. The ceremony is for both Transfer and Graduating students from PCC and CEC.

Note: In accordance to LA County and the City of Pasadena, PCC will be following COVID-19 safety protocols and regulations. Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, this graduation celebration is meant to be complimentary to the main PCC Commencement. Some students will participate in both or just one. It’s up to you! 
Tickets, attire, and general information will be discussed during the mandatory orientation. 
For this graduation celebration, we do not require students to wear a cap or gown. We will discuss the dress code in detail during the orientations. 
We wanted this celebration to complement PCC's commencement. Being able to have it before the main commencement gives students the opportunity to wear the sarape stoles they receive to the larger commencement. 
Yes, it is free. We provide students with the Sarape sash, certificate of achievement, and dinner. 
Unfortunately, students completing Fall 2024 and beyond will not be able to participate, but can participate in the Spring 2025 celebration.

Yes! Students who are earning their adult high school diploma or GED through the PCC are welcome to participate.

If you would like to be considered for this special honor, please indicate this information on the graduation application. The committee is interested in a speech that will resonate with the entire audience - students, parents, and guests. The speech cannot be more than 3 minutes long.
